The ESICON 2026 entertainment committee has fostered a comprehensive entertainment and wellness agenda designed to enrich the attendee experience beyond traditional academic programmes. The committee has planned a three-day schedule that balances cultural immersion, physical wellness, and artistic performances.

Day 1: Colours of India

First evening of the conference will feature "Colours of India," on 22nd October, Thursday, setting the cultural tone for the conference. Colours of India is an extremely popular cultural entertainment program "By the Endocrinologists, For the Endocrinologists". Endocrinologists from various states of India will participate as teams and showcase their local culture and talent.

Day 2: Cultural Performance

The evening of Day 2, 23rd October, Friday, will showcase classical Indian dance and traditional folk dance, featuring a 90 minute performance within the conference venue. The artistic direction centers on traditional storytelling through Bharatanatyam varnam, specifically interpreting narratives from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Distinguished performers, from the prestigious Kalakshetra academy, have been identified as potential artists. Traditional folk dance from different regions of Tamilnadu will also be showcased by traditional experts.

Day 3: Light Music & Gala Dinner

Day 3, Saturday evening entertainment will feature light music& gala dinner.

Heritage exploration

The Entertainment committee has strategically planned heritage walks across three days (Friday through Sunday) to showcase Chennai's rich historical landscape. Themorning outings will include a guided temple tour to Kapaleeshwarar temple from 6-7 AM, offering participants spiritual and architectural insights. Additional heritage options include guided walks through Chennai's iconic landmarks.

Wellness and Community Engagement

A significant highlight is the Saturday morning walkathon scheduled for 6 am at the Marina Beach, featuring a 5-kilometer route. This wellness initiative promotes healthy living among medical professionals and attendees. The Committee will arrange local transport from the hotels to and back from the venue of the Walkathon.
