The Endocrine Society Tamil Nadu and Puducherry (ESTN) is a young organization created in 2013 with a view to spread awareness about Endocrinology & Diabetes to the public and to fulfill the need for a state level organization for Endocrinology. The aim of the society is to unite all practicing Endocrinologists and Physicians for the cause of the specialty. The primary aim of the society is to work towards helping Endocrinologists, Physicians and other allied specialists an opportunity to network, further knowledge and practice evidence-based medicine. The society also helps to develop training programs in Endocrinology and help young physicians in their quest to train in Endocrinology and Diabetes.

Over the years, the society has evolved into a dynamic platform that facilitates continuous professional development through academic programs, annual conferences, workshops and scientific symposia. It actively encourages knowledge exchange, evidence-based practice and collaboration among specialists, thereby ensuring that patients receive the most advanced and compassionate endocrine care. The Endocrine society of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry is committed to strengthening both clinical and community awareness on a wide spectrum of endocrine diseases including Diabetes, Thyroid disorders, Obesity, Pituitary, Adrenal disorders, Metabolic bone diseases, Reproductive endocrinology, Paediatric endocrine issues and lifestyle-related metabolic challenges. Through our outreach initiatives and educational activities, ESTN engages with general practitioners, medical trainees and the general public to improve disease understanding, early detection and holistic management.

One of ESTN's flagship activity is our Annual Professional Endocrine Conference of our state affiliate, most popularly called as TRENDO which brings together leading experts, clinicians and researchers to share advancements in Endocrinology and Diabetes, which has one of the largest delegate gathering in India. The conference serves as a collaborative hub, fostering networking, scientific exchange and multidisciplinary learning.

ENRICH represents ESTN's continuous medical education platform designed to update post-graduates in training and young doctors periodically through focused sessions in specialised areas of Endocrinology over the last 10 years. PAED-TRENDO - With increasing emphasis on early-life endocrine disorders, the society conducts Paed-TRENDO, a dedicated academic space focusing on endocrine issues in children and adolescents. Paediatric TRENDO nurtures sub-specialty interest and provides a forum for Endocrinologists and Paediatricians to collaborate effectively.
